Tea Masters honour this legacy — selecting the finest harvests and blending different cultivars to bring excellent craftsmanship year after year. Finding your perfect ratio takes a little trial and error, but this is a great place to start. From here, feel free to adjust — more or less matcha, sweetener or none at all, and as much (or as little) milk as you like.
- Sift your matcha
Sift 1–2 teaspoons of matcha into a bowl to remove any clumps. - Whisk with water
Add 2–3 oz hot (not boiling) water and whisk until smooth and frothy (80C/175F) - Sweeten if you like
Stir in your preferred sweetener while the matcha is warm. - Add milk
Heat or froth 6–8 oz of milk and pour it into the matcha. - Enjoy a moment of presence
Sip slowly, breathe, allow the matcha to awaken your senses.

how should I store my matcha
We recommend storing opened matcha in a cool dark place (like a pantry) away from heat, light, and humidity.
The next best storage option would be in the fridge, but with caution.
Here’s what to keep in mind:
- Matcha absorbs moisture and odors easily, so keep it sealed.
- Let it reach room temperature before opening – Condensation can form inside the container if cold matcha is exposed to warm air, affecting quality.
Avoid the Fridge
If frequently used – Taking it in and out can cause condensation and degrade the matcha faster.
If not properly sealed – It can absorb fridge odors, affecting flavor.
